Job Description:
Offer private tutorials at either students' homes or at our center. Your role entails availing yourself for students our office will be attaching you to, in the city, town or village you are located in. You will be tutoring students based on the curricula they are registered for in their schools. In addition, you will required to provide a monthly feedback on each student, and perform your personal administrative tasks each month.

Requirements:
Diploma/Bachelors or Masters degree in the field you are applying to tutor. (e.g. BA English, Geography; BCom Accounting; AAT/CIMA/ACCA). 2 Years tutoring experience will be an advantage, but applicants without experience will be trained.
Teaching qualifications such as PGDE, Diploma in Education or Bachelors in Education will be considered first.

Remuneration:
P0 - P15 000+ per month
(Tutors are paid depending on the number of hours tutored).

Qualifications & Experience
Education
An earned Doctorate Degree in a Science, Engineering or Technology discipline.
Must have strong academic credentials attested by a full professorship from a Research based University

Experience
Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a senior academic and
administrative leadership role (at the level of Dean or above).
A minimum of ten (10) years as a Full Professor with experience in teaching, research and administration. Knowledge and experience of University Systems

  • Have a strong commitment to higher education and the ability to lead and inspire the Academic Affairs Team.

JOB SUMMARY
This position’s primary role is to ensure that all necessary data is collected for each identified case of HIV related patient level and facility data is captured into electronic database developed for the case surveillance system.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Responsible for timely entering and maintaining up to date data for the sites covered in the district.
• Liaise with facility in-charge on any issues related to receiving the case reporting, securing databases that have confidential clinical information on patients
• Communicates with the HIV Case Surveillance Officer (HIVCSO) about any recurring problems in the databases.
• Identifies data discrepancies and ensures that they are corrected
• Files completed case report forms and registers from manual sites after data entry securely
• Generates progress report and communicate to the supervisors.
• Responsible for the assigned office equipment and reporting faults for repair
• Responsible for regular database backup

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Form 5 certificate with minimum of Diploma in Computer Studies
• Should have experience in computers and MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Excel and Access.

Job Summary:
To acquire, manage and interpret geological data in line with coal exploration and mine geology best practice.

Key Activities:

  • Maintains an up-to-date functional database on geological information.

  • Assist in developing an effective MCM exploration and mine geology strategy.
  • Develop processes, standards and procedures for relevant exploration and mine geology work in line with best practice guidelines.
  • Responsible for the Prospecting License management including all aspects of regulatory compliance on license areas, including SHE.
  • Design, manage and execute approved exploration projects as per plan and when required to take remedial action to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage the appointed Competent Person service provider through a SLA and ensure regular interaction and service delivery.
  • Conduct regular internal reviews on all exploration and mine geology work pertinent to the MCM.
  • Adheres to all Safety Health and Environmental policies and procedures in area of responsibility.
Requirements
Minimum Education, Training & Experience Requirements:
  • BSc (Hons) relevant Geoscience degree plus minimum 8 years post qualification experience in an Exploration and Mining environment.
  • Experience in coal exploration and mining projects will be an added advantage
  • Membership of a professional body will be advantageous
  • Valid Light duty Drivers’ license
  • Understanding of SHE Management Systems (ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001).
Technical knowledge:
  • Knowledge of work processes involved in coal exploration, evaluation and mining.

  • Geological and geotechnical core logging and down-hole geophysical log interpretation.

1. ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (two positions tenable in Kanye and Palapye)

Main Purpose of the Job:

Organise and coordinate the provision of cost effective office support and supplies services, and will   include the following:
  • In-coming and out-going mail management
  • Allocate parking spaces and maintenance of parking facilities
  • Ensure availability of transport as required

The Chesire Foundation is a charity NGO for the rehabilitation of people with disabilities. The foundation is looking for qualified Therapists who have the following experience:

Experience:
• 3 years experience as Therapist and with knowledge and skills in the assessment and treatment of neurological patients with long standing complex disabilities.
• Candidates with Community based rehabilitation experience.
• Must be registered with Botswana Health Professions Council.
• Must be in a possession of valid driver’s license

The job involves some o f the following
• To manage caseload of clients with complex needs with medical diagnosis such as neurological, orthopedic and complex conditions
• To use evidence based/client centered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions
• To assess and treat patients within a variety of environments including workplace and home.
• To work as part of the multidisciplinary team providing specialist rehabilitation and to supervise students on clinical placements and other staff members including rehabilitation technicians.
• Participate in the discharge planning process within the Daycare, Residential & other programmes and carry out home visits in partnership with designated team members in order to ensure smooth and safe transition for the patients back into the community.

Qualifications: 
Degree/Diploma in physiotherapy and/or Occupational Therapy

Duties:  The successful candidates will be expected to: (i) supervise and coordinate the Distance Education activities; (ii) assist tutors in conducting tests and exams; (iii) stock and distribute study materials; (iv) liaise with institutional authority in the allocation of class rooms and other resources; (v) report to Learner Support coordinator in Francistown. 

Requirements: Applicants should have (i) a Master’s Degree qualification in any field;  However, a Bachelors’ Degree in any field will also be considered in the absence of Master’s Degree holders; (ii) a minimum of one year experience in Coordination and Management roles (iii) Candidate must be a staff member of the Palapye Technical College or Okavango Research Institute.  Candidate will require an endorsement by the Head of the centre.
