TRAINING OFFICER, C4: COAL SOUTH AFRICA, MAFUBE COLLIERY, MPUMALANGA

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL

The role:
·  Provide a Training and Development support service within the departments on the operation to ensure maximum production achieved through a skilled efficient labour force
·  Ensure effective Administration of Learning and Development within relevant disciplines
·  Recommended guidelines for learning and development
·  Effectively manage the record keeping of learning and development systems, both physically and electronically
·  Facilitate learning and development interventions
·  Effectively manage own development
Qualifications, Experience and Skills/Knowledge:
·  Diploma / Degree in ETD or related field (NQF5 with a recognised Blasting Certificate)
·  Registered Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator
·  A minimum of 3 years experience in a Training or Mining environment
·  In possession of or studying toward a N5 qualification would be advantageous
·  Skills Development Facilitator would be an advantage
·  Knowledge of all applicable legislation including Mine Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act; Skills Development Act; Mining methods, MQA
·  Knowledge of Accreditation standards including ISO 14001, ISO 9001: 2008 AND OHSAS 18001
·  Specialist technical knowledge of the discipline/function
·  Good understanding of coal mining – Opencast
·  Knowledge of training systems, procedures and policies (internal and external)
·  Knowledge of safety systems and standards
·  Working knowledge of opencast mining techniques and equipment
·  Knowledge of any other official language – ability to speak would be an advantageous
·  In depth knowledge of Anglo Coal South Africa Learning and Development Standards, policies and procedures
·  Moderator, Assessor and Auditing skills (ISO 9001:2008)
·  Excellent facilitation skills
·  Presentation Skills
·  Interpersonal Skills
·  Organisational and Facilitation Skills
·  Facilitation of risk assessment
·  Computer literacy (MS Office)

Description 
·         Manage internal stakeholders achievement of sales targets
·         Identify approved applications as received from Signio (Management Information System (MIS)), initiate contact with client and dealer through active monitoring
·         Drive the end-to-end process of application approvals and contracts as per take-up percentages agreed in the Performance Development (PD) Plan
·         Facilitate and coordinate the delivery and take-up of all approved deals
·         Enhance the brand by personally ensuring the visibility of the brand on the branch network floor
·         Provide training on products and systems to Internal Stakeholders
·         Conduct quick check of files on contract with regards to necessary documentation

Essential/Basic Qualifications 
·         Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification or higher
·         NQF Level 4 FAIS Qualification with 30 credits
·         Two (2) years Retail Sales Experience
·         Two (2) years FAIS experience
·         Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
·         No criminal record

Preferred Qualifications 
·         National Diploma in Marketing or Finance or equivalent NQF level 5 qualification or higher
·         B degree in Marketing or Finance or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification or higher
·         Four (4) years marketing experience in the Vehicle and Asset Finance environment
·         Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status

Essential

Experience in PC hardware
