Qualifications:

•A minimum of BGCSE or its equivalent
•Any training in research will be an added advantage

Experience:

•At least 1 year proven experience in data collection through questionnaires, face to face interviews and or focus group discussions

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Assist with data collection through interviews, questionnaire and focus group discussions
•Ensures data collected corresponds to the set data quality dimensions
•Conduct recruitment, appointments and discussions with study participants
•Reports to the field supervisor on daily basis on any progress or challenges met during the collection exercise
•Ensures safe and secure handling of data collected and instruments of data collection
•Performs routine clerical duties as may be instructed, if essential to the research activities of the supervisor or project to which the research assistant is assigned.

DRIVER II (2 posts)

BAMALETE LUTHERAN SCHOOL OF NURSING

Salary Scale: B4 (P29, 136 up to P34, 656 per annum)

Qualifications:

A minimum of Primary School Leaving Examination Certificate, Class B & C1 driver’s license and PrDP “P” License for minibuses. PrDP “Special” for goods will be an added advantage.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 to 5 years driving experience in both light and heavy duty vehicles.

Main purpose of the job:

- Drives heavy duty vehicles exceeding 3500 kg maximum weight (for non-articulated vehicles) and up to 16000 kg maximum weight including trailer
- Drives all non-articulated buses above 3500 kg
- Cleans and maintains the school vehicles and report any defects found to the Transport Officer
- Performs pre-trip inspection and ensures that the vehicles are roadworthy
- Checks the vehicle spares and keep record of them before departure
- Performs routine vehicle maintenance, which includes removal and fitment of tyres, washing and ensuring that tyres are inflated to the correct pressure.
- Willing to work overtime and overnight trips when requested by supervisor
- Comply at all times with the Road Traffic Act of Botswana particularly in sections relating to safety and speed.
- Maintains log book and properly records all trips undertaken.

Information Technology Lecturer (Re-Advertisement)

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or any related field from a recognized institution.

Experience 

Candidates must have a minimum of two years previous experience in the IT field or have served as a lecturer in a recognized institution. Experience in network administration using Windows 2003/2008 Server platform is an added advantage.

- Plan and implement activities for IT department

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education (Nursing) and Masters in Midwifery

Experience:
6 years relevant work experience preferably in Reproductive Health setting and Maternity wards or served as a lecturer in a comparable institution. Should have experience in managing the clinical laboratories.

Main purpose of the job:
To prepare Midwives who will deliver maternity care services independently in a variety of settings.

Duties:
- Manage clinical laboratory and directs activities of the clinical laboratory
- Implements the midwifery curriculum
