JOBS AT ORANGE BOTSWANA: MARKETING EXECUTIVE (PRODUCTS & INNOVATION)


Overview
Orange invites candidates who wish to be part of a dynamic workforce to apply for the above position.
Reporting to Marketing Operations and Innovations Manager the successful candidate will be expected toidentify local and international partnerships, recommend opportunities to enrich OBW products and services portfolio.

The main duties include but are not limited to:
  • Leverage on any innovation and partnerships to offer Orange customers access to exclusive applications, products and services.
  • Improve revenue, animate products and services to reach set KPIs: TV content ,music, gaming and sports, applications, USSD portal, Bulk messaging/SMS API, new services and 3rd party services.
  • Management of products and services life cycle.
  • Monitor and report on KPI’s of each product
  • Build proper business model to optimise the value of the contracted products and services partners.
  • Monitor performance and return on investment on each partnership/ content providers/ Group services.
  • Define a clear products and services per segment including business model in line with the marketing strategic plan.
  • Propose a roadmap leveraging on Innovation and Partnerships.
  • Negotiate contents and revenue share in new and existing products and services agreements.
  • Prepare TTM for main projects.
  • Manage budget and contribute to budget phases with clear strategy and requirements(assessing ROI)
  • Leverage on deals negotiated by Orange Group for local implementation.
  • Corporate closely with other marketing units to leverage on opportunities to boost usage and revenues of certain products and services (VAS, Data bundles…)
  • Contribute to main events managed by Communication: support for coordination prior and during the event.
  • Monthly reconciliation of accounts, processing of invoices and follow-up on outstanding invoices.

Qualifications and experience
  • Marketing/Business Degree or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience marketing field.

Orange Coach Central & North East

Reporting to the Regional Manager – South, the successful candidate shall be expected to contribute to the formulation of the Marketing and Strategic Plans as well as gain a complete understanding of competitors’ activities. Duties in this portfolio include but are not limited to: performing animations on the field across Orange footprint according to the animation plans, support the implementation of the merchandising rules and deliver training / Coaching on hard and soft skills to direct and indirect channels.

Qualifications and experience


• Diploma in Business Studies
• 1 year experience in distribution/retail/corporate environment (Telecommunications’ experience would be an added advantage)
•Good proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Performance & Tools Officer - Orange Botswana (Pty) Ltd

Reporting to the Performance & Tools Manager, the incumbent will be required to contribute towards securing the performance of the sales unit and supporting the managers in charge of the operations by producing and monitoring the sales unit performance reports, managing the sales tools and the sales process matrix.

Qualifications and experience


• Diploma in Business Studies
