1. DIRECT SALES AGENTS (X12)

1.1.Job Purpose

Direct Sales Agents are representatives of the Bank who are required to source new business at the ground level. The commissioned based positions are target oriented and focus heavily on performance. The position reports into a Team Leader, the 12 positions are available in the following areas:

•5 position in Gaborone
•3 positions in Francistown
•2 positions in Maun
•2 positions in Palapye

1.2.Key Responsibilities

•Source new business in line with the guiding principles
•Follow-up on business leads generated
•Attend to the Bank initiatives and other activities which may generate new business
•Adhere to set customer service standards including meeting deadlines
•Meet set targets
•Submit completed loan application forms to the Team Leader on daily basis
•Adherence to the Bank's Know Your Customer (KYC) policies and procedures.
•Adherence to Safety Health and Environmental policies and procedures.

1.3.Key Requirements

•A certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance is mandatory
•A minimum of 2 years experience in a related position, preferably within the Banking industry
•Good command of English
•Performance driven individual who requires limited supervision
•Target oriented with sound customer focus
•Sound interpersonal skills
•Presentable

2.TEAM LEADER (X4)

2.1.Job Purpose

The positions are responsible for generating new business. As Team Leaders, the incumbents will oversee, direct and motive their teams of Direct Sales Agents. The positions report to Customer Service Managers and the 4 positions are tenable at the following areas:

•1 position in Gaborone
•1 position in Francistown
•1 position in Maun
•1 position in Palapye

2.2.Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and guide the Direct Sales Agents
•Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team against the set targets.
•Ensure adequate training and coaching is provided to the team
•Source new business in line with business requirements
•Generate lead calls and make follow ups on them
•Data capturing and monitoring of business generated
•Attend to the Bank initiatives and other activities which may generate new business
•Manage payments for the Direct Sales Agents
•Adherence to set Customer Service Standards.
•Adherence to the Bank's Know Your Customer (KYC) policies and procedures.
•Adherence to Safety Health and Environmental policies and procedures.

2.3.Key Requirements

•AAT Certification
•A Degree in Business Administration would be an added advantage
•A Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance
•Solid working knowledge of Banking Systems
•3-5 years relevant experience, preferably within the Banking Industry
•Supervisory skills is an added advantage
•Good command in English
•Results oriented with sound customer focus
•Sound interpersonal skills
•Presentable
•A valid driver's license

3.SALES EXECUTIVE - BUSINESS TRACK (X3)

3.1.Job Purpose

The Sales Executive positions support specific portfolios within the Bank by generating new business. The ideal candidate is organised, motivated and performance driven. The positions report to the Relationship Managers. The three positions are tenable in Gaborone.

3.2.Key Responsibilities

•Attend to walk-in clients and source new business
•Generate lead calls and follow up on them
•Provide efficient customer service
•Manage transactions on SAP
•Meet targets
•Monitor the progress of business applications internally
•Track the progress of business applications internally
•Provide customers with feedback regarding their business applications
•Ensure deadlines are met
•Adhere to Safety Health and Environmental policies and procedures

3.3.Key Requirements

•An Accounting and or business related Diploma with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the banking environment OR a Degree in the Accounting and or Business field with 2-3 years relevant experience withing the banking environment
•A certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance
•SAP proficiency
•Excellent customer service skills
•Sound interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
•Good command of English and Setswana
•Deadline oriented
•Target focused
•Presentable
•A valid Driver's license is advantageous 


4.CALL CENTRE SUPERVISOR

4.1.Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to generate leads and effectively process customer queries. The incumbent will supervise a team of Call centre Agents and collectively the department will focus on rapport building, positive influence of customer experience and positive branding of the National Development Bank. The Call Centre Supervisor will instill a performance driven culture oriented around set targets. The position reports to the Query Resolution Supervisor and is tenable in Gaborone.

4.2.Key Requirements

•A degree related to Economics and or the Business discipline with 2 to 3 years relevant experience in a similar role.
•An industry related professional certificate with 4-5 years experience of which 2 years have been in a similar role.
•Affiliation with the Botswana Institution of Bankers (BIOB) will be an added advantage
•A certificate of Proficiency (COP) in insurance is an added advantage.
•Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suit and call centre management systems.
•Good command of English and Setswana
•Results oriented
•Strong business communication including rapport building skills
•Proficient analytical and problem solving skills
•Performance driven individual who requires limited supervision

•Strong working knowledge of banking products and services

5.TREASURY OFFICER

5.1.Job Purpose

The position is responsible for sound asset and liability management through the optimization of balance sheet risks and maximization of returns. The ideal candidate is acute, organised, performance driven and has relevant experience within the banking industry. The position reports to the Treasury Manager and is tenable in Gaborone.

5.2.Key Requirements

•A degree in FINANCE, FINANCIAL ENGINEERING, or related field
•3-5 years relevant experience within the banking environment is required.
•Working with knowledge of Basel 2 and 3 is an added advantage.
•Excellent customers service skills and relationship management.
•Sound interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
•Good command of English and Setswana
•Deadline oriented
•Target focused
•Presentable
•A valid driver's license is an advantage
