Key Purpose
To ensure that all assets within the ENGEN Cape Town DC are maintained in accordance with the relevant Engen standards, ISO standards, and OHS Act and Construction Regulations, to meet production targets in a safe, responsible and cost effective manner. To ensure the efficient maintenance of equipment in order to minimise work disruption. To provide HSEQ support and assist with the smooth operation of Cape Town DC.

• Establish and manage the DC Asset Maintenance Programme
• Effectively utilise the resources necessary for the maintenance activities
• Project & Engineering Interface management

• Financial Management & Administration

Education & Experience
Code 8 Drivers Licence
SAP R/3 modules (MM, SD, TD, Isoil, FI and CO)
5 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a petrochemical industry
Qualified Trade Tested Mechanical Fitter
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of planning and scheduling
Working knowledge of engineering drawings
Sound knowledge of maintenance procedures, mechanical equipment and practices
Good knowledge of maintenance work flow processes
Good knowledge of process interfaces with Engineering
Mechanical knowledge of DC equipment and its application
Quality Control Systems for construction work
Good knowledge of equipment inspection techniques, pressure testing procedures, tank maintenance, piping systems
Basic knowledge of the OSHAct
Working knowledge of SAP R3
Basic knowledge of DC economics
Good knowledge of contractor and contract management
Good Team management skills
