Key Purpose	Ensure the safe and effective offloading, storage, handling. picking and loading of packed and drummed products through the proper use of Fork lift trucks and associated material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities	• Storage and distribution • Customer order fulfilment • Health, safety and environment • Quality assurance
Specific Outcomes	• To ensure fast and efficient service to customers own collection and long distance customers • To plan, co-ordinate and control the efficient, safe and economic receipt, handling, recording, storage, loading and distribution of Marine bulk and packed lubricants and Maxipacks.
Education & Experience	• Matric or equivalent • Forklift Drivers licence • 2 years experience in Depot Operations, Storage Handling and Distribution or warehousing. • Experienced and competent in the effective and safe handling of materials and materials handling equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes	Knowledge: • Knowledge of and full compliance to procedures, safety instructions and work instructions • Offloading, storage, handling, picking and loading of pack products • Safe and cost effective utilization of material handling equipment • Product quality on receipt, handling, storage, picking, and loading of packed products • Understanding of good housekeeping rules • Health, safety environment awareness Skills: • Good communication skills • Good interpersonal skills • Basic Computer skills • Good forklift driving skills • Basic numeracy skills Attributes: • Uses initiative and is self-driven • Ability to work under pressure • Team-player, but able to work independently
