Specification	Key Responsibilities •Primarily assess and manage patients presenting to the emergency department under the supervision of an emergency physician •Inform consultants of admissions to their respective departments •Serve as an assistant surgeon in theater •Respond to inpatient resuscitations or major incidents as part of the hospital resuscitation team •Adhere to safe and evidence based clinical standards in accordance with hospital policy
Requirements	Minimum Requirements •Degree in Medicine (MD, MBBS, MBChB or MBBCh) •Botswana Health Professions Council registered Experience •At least 2 years’ experience as a Medical Officer •BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (AHA) CERTIFIED •Clinical experience in an emergency department will be an added advantage
