Key Responsibility
•Identifies markets where the Hospital can procure High quality Medical Merchandise/Material and/or services and ensures the Hospital maintains appropriate High Quality Control Standards of same •Negotiates with both Local and International Suppliers and ensure Service Level Agreements are strictly enforced. •Provides (with input from Biomed Engineer and Medical Specialists) management information including market trends analysis and recommendations for Cost Effective Sourcing Strategies to ensure that the Hospital procure the most up to date services and products. •Develops Supply Chain Policies and Strategies and works out optimal contract / Service Levels Agreements taking cognizance of pricing, quality, safety , timeliness of delivery, and availability of merchandise/services.. |

Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements
Education •Relevant degrees or equivalent chartered institute of purchasing and supply qualification or International trade. Experience •Minimum seven years of experience in Supply Chain Management dealing with international supply chain companies in Botswana, Region, European and Asian countries. Competency Requirements •Ability to Communicate in Multiple Languages •Thorough knowledge of Botswana Supply Chain Governance issues •Must have full knowledge of International Trade and Procedures •Excellent Negotiation and Influencing Skills |
