Job Purpose
To efficiently and effectively perform housekeeping and
general duties in the section in accordance with instructions, laid down
procedures, safety and housekeeping standards.
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Carries
out general cleaning of offices, plant and equipment and other areas.
- De-bushes
to prevent accidents and interference with operations.
- Clears
spillages in accordance with housekeeping standards.
- Digs/clears
trenches and fills them as necessary
- Collects
and delivers spare and tools as requested.
- Maintains
gardens and facilities.
- Carries
out manual responsibilities such as loading and unloading of deliveries
Safety, Health and Environment
- Operates
in accordance with policies and rules, while performing routine safety
checks on own equipment and workspace.
