LECTURER IN POLITICAL SCIENCE
VACANCY NO: FSS/ PAS 3/ 2019
Duties: The successful applicant will be
expected to teach diploma and undergraduate courses and must have a solid
background in Political Science. The applicants must have demonstrable
capacity to teach at least four of the following courses: Critical Thinking;
Politics of Regionalism; Politics of Poverty; Democratic Theory and Practice;
Theories of International Relations; Philosophy; States and Development Policy;
Research Methods; The State and Society; and Politics of South Africa.
Requirements: Applicants should have (i)
at least MA/MSc. In Political Science; (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Political
Science or related field with at least a 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 (iii)
show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) a relevant PhD, teaching
experience at a University of comparable institution and demonstration of
effective academic leadership will be added advantages.
Remuneration: The University offers a
