VACANCY NO. FE/EDF 3/2018:
LECTURER IN COUNSELING AND HUMAN SERVICES, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL
FOUNDATIONS
Duties: The
successful candidate is expected to: (i) teach counselor education courses at
undergraduate and graduate level and supervise research, practicum and
internship; (ii) participate in all academic and professional activities of the
department including research and curriculum review; (iii) carry out any other
duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
Applicants should have (i) at least a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human
Services/ Counseling/ Guidance and Counseling/Counselor Education or related
fields and (ii) a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with at least a 2(i) pass/GPA of
at least 3.6 or equivalent; (iii) evidence of engagement in research and
service. A relevant PhD, teaching experience at a University or comparable
institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added
advantage.
