Purpose
Provide technical leadership in the support of The Group
Learning Management System and all learning related reporting. This position is
responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and
maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional
functions
Key Role Responsibilities:
Learning Management System Management
• Work on assignments dealing with the routine and daily
operation, use, and configuration of Learning Management System
• Manage Learning, Social and Career areas within Learning
Management System including functionality, appearance, tabs and settings
• Identify and communicate opportunities for process and
quality improvements
• Provide feedback on usage, defects and suggested enhancements
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of current technology as it
applies to Learning Management System software and systems
• Maintain procedures and policies to ensure security and
integrity of systems & networks
• Write and maintain technical procedures and policy
documentation
• Collaborate with Human Resource Business Partners, L&D
Specialists and other Stakeholders on learning needs and opportunities for the
expansion of talent development within the organisation
• Act as an Internal Consultant by analysing data
• Recommend solutions to utilise Learning Management System
to deliver & track learning
• Measure performance to meet organisational objectives
• Create and update resources to Learners
• Support Learners on how to use technology for online and
professional development
User Management
• Create user logins as needed and assign user permissions
• Create and manage user structures including creation of
user groups, communities and learning cohorts
• Manage course enrolment including progress tracking
Course Management
• Publish and archive online or blended learning solutions
• Assign training curricula, adds and deletes resources
• Work with Information Technology Department to manage
course asset library Populates course information and assign Learners
• Develop and update standardised tools and reporting for
on-going access to learning information, generate standard and custom reports
• Analyse report data and recommend strategic direction to
HC, Technical Managers, or others, as appropriate
• Create and manage overall course structure and sets up
course programs based on specifications from the instructional designer
• Manage tracking of course revisions and history
• Build online assessments and evaluations in Learning
Management System for courses
• Manage relationship with third party Vendors
Troubleshoot
• Provide troubleshooting assistance for users regarding
logging in to the Learning Management System and accessing courses
• Troubleshoot and resolves issues relating to system
functionality and software systems
• Serve as point of escalation for support issues, which may
include interaction with Learning Management System Vendor and other Vendor
support services
• Review and monitor system performance
• Work with Instructional Technologist and Instructional
Designers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accessing
Learning Management System and course content
Report
• Compile daily, monthly and annual L&D reports to
required business Stakeholders Support Managers and individuals to extract and
manage their own learning dashboards
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
5 Years working experience as an Learning Management System
