FACULTY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY VACANCY NO. FET/CE
1/2016: PART-TIME LECTURER IN DIGITAL CARTOGRAPHY, DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL
ENGINEERING (one position) Duties: The successful applicant will be required to
teach undergraduate level courses in Digital Cartography and Cartographic Visualization
and perform any other duties assigned by the Head of the Department.
Requirements:
The candidate must have (i) an undergraduate degree in
Geomatics or related area with at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or
equivalent; (ii) a Masters degree in Cartography/GIS/Remote Sensing/Digital
Mapping obtained from a recognized University; (iii) evidence of engagement in
research & service. Practical experience in digital cartography or digital
mapping, Ph.D in the relevant area and teaching experience will be added
advantages.
