Applicants are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Graphic Designer (Motion Picture) in the Ministry of Education and Skills Development.

SALARY: C3/4 P68 520 – P81 852_per annum)

LEAVE: 25 Working Days Per Annum

BENEFITS:

QUALIFICATION:

Applicants should have a Diploma/Degree in Mass Communication or Television Broadcasting.

None/Direct recruitment.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide graphics services for the various in-house educational television programs production.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• To design and create enticing graphics for the in-house educational television programs to attract target audience’s attention.
• To assist in selecting audio, video, colors and animations for graphics.
• To create video and animation to give the impression of action through changing images.
• To create animated 2 and 3-dimensional images to enhance the programs.
• To augment the programs by adding subtitles where need be.
• To design and create commercials as and when necessary.
• To identify various graphics/images including videos and photographs to augment and enhance in-house productions
• To work hand in hand with editors, producers and other designers at different stages from conceptualisation through storyboarding, animating to resolve technical and/or design issues.
• To Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
• To assist in other operations activities including camera work.
• Participate in brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
• Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines and design standards.
