VACANCY FOR A DIVISIONAL MANAGER ORE PRODUCTION - BCL LIMITED

Job description

The company is currently looking forward to employ suitably qualified candidate for the following position:

DIVISIONAL MANAGER ORE PRODUCTION

Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be responsible for the strategic execution of both the development and current practice of Ore Production such that the division contributes to value creation as per the strategic plan.

Requirements

Key Performance Areas

• Achieving safety and environmental objectives as per strategic plan
• Providing Ore at planned volume and grade and within the planned safety and environmental standards
• Developing to secure reserves required by the business plan
• Maintenance and engineering to ensure equipment availability
• Process and Productivity improvement
• Participating in strategic reviews and contributing to shaping of BCL business strategy.
• Translating BCL strategy into divisional objectives over the strategy cycle and effectively managing performance against plan.
• Optimizing capabilities of the division to leverage sustainable achievement of BCL objectives.
• Setting the context and direction for the work of the division and integrating into the broader business through proactive management of interface issues.

Job Requirements

• Mining Degree relevant to the resources industry
• At least 15 years post qualification experience of which at least 5 years should have been at Production Manager/Mine Manager Level
• Mining Industry and Operations knowledge and experience a distinct advantage.
• Proven track record of delivery
• Experience in mechanized mining environment will be an advantage
