Key Purpose	To provide materials that is fit-for-use to support Refinery operational requirements in a cost effective, efficient and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities	•Finance •Business Processes •Customer Service •HSE
Specific Outcomes	•Optimisation of stock value •Transactions approvals are within prescribed LOA’s •Audit records are current, filed correctly and easily accessible •Daily business transactions are posted the same day •Identify obsolete and redundant materials and propose write off •Ensure that stock data integrity is enhanced •Procedures and work Instructions adherence and maintenance •Audit records maintained within prescribed retention periods •Planned goods receipts, issues, stock count/adjustments, chemicals and catalysts registered optimally executed •Material identification, binning, storage, segregation and preservation policy maintained •Consignment stock managed effectively •Material delivered to customers effectively •Operate all operational functions on rotational basis when required •Customer focus maintained •Administration work processes managed effectively •Support planned Projects, Shutdowns and Turnarounds and optimally executed •Post execution of work close-out on-time •Advance planning: Internal and External Audits •Ensure materials are available to support Refinery requirements •Bagging and tagging of relevant materials •Continual service within agreed SLA's •Delivery of materials to customers effectively •Proactive preparation of material requirements •Material data sheets maintained •Housekeeping maintained •Check Lists maintained •STOP audits completed •Safety talks/records maintained •HSE incidents prevented •Management of hazardous chemicals and catalysts effectively maintained
Education & Experience	•Grade12/N3 •Warehouse diploma or certificate •Drivers License code 8 •Fork lift and reach truck certification 2 Ton and 4 Ton •Minimum 5 years’ experience in Warehouse operations •Preferred minimum 2 year’s experience in a Petroleum Refinery Warehouse
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes	KNOWLEDGE •Good understanding of Warehouse management principles and practises •Basic understanding of procurement process •Knowledge and understanding of core Refinery materials and equipment spares •Understanding of core business principles •Good understanding of quality control, QA principles and practises SKILLS •Computer literate •MS Excel and WORD skills •SAP literacy – Inventory Management and Physical Inventory •Good accounting skills •Technical skills – read technical drawings, materials and equipment identification •Operate material handling equipment i.e. reach truck and forklift etc. ATTRIBUTES •Detail-oriented •Team player •Results-focused •Proactive •Committed •Customer-focused
