Key Purpose	Undertake assignments so as to ensure that the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the company’s physical assets and facilities are at all times constructed and maintained to Engen’s and Regulatory standards for ESM business sales streams (Commercial; Lubricants; Chemicals).
Key Responsibilities	- Infrastructural Design - Engineering standards and design - Project Management - HSE Compliance - Infrastructure Maintenance
Specific Outcomes	- A cost-effective design that meets business & regulatory requirements. - Supervised conceptual and final designs – complexity dependent on experience. - Capital and operational cost estimates ( for a design and its implementation). - Supervised upgrades and de-bottlenecking of plants – complexity dependent on experience. - Improvement in HSE. - Designs maintained in line with HSE, legal, cost and efficiency objectives. - Remain up to date with current and future engineering practices, technologies & legislation. - Project completed on time, within budget and operating as designed – project complexity dependent on experience. - Conceptual engineering design. - Supervised tender preparation and adjudication – complexity dependent on experience - Compliance with all current legislation and Engen standards (compliance targeted at minimum Legal or Engen minimum standards, whichever is higher). - Onsite Incident Response Management. - Optimised returns on company assets.
Education & Experience	- Matric or equivalent - National Diploma (S4) in Engineering - Mechanical Engineering - Studying towards BTech Mechanical Engineering - 2 to 5 years Petrochemical experience - Driver's licence code 8
