EMERGENCY RESPONSE: LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

In response to Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda Response in the Philippines, Save the Children is in the process of putting together a team provide emergency response support. As part of this we are looking for 2 Logistics Coordinators (Field-based) to provide expertise and support to our upscale in the area.


Reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager in Manila, Logistics Coordinator will offer support to the logistics staff in Manila and in the field offices. The post holder will ensure compliance with the organisation's policies and procedures, implementation of internal and external logistics requirements and offer training to both logistics and non-logistics staff in the area offices. S/He will work closely with the Field Logistics Coordinators and technically staff linked with the logistics department.

Deployments are expected to last for 3-6 months with the possible of extension where funding can be secured.
