Community Agency for Social Enquiry (C A S E) is a leading
South African research NGO focusing on socio-economic and policy research in
support of social and economic justice. Understanding the nature of poverty,
inequality and unemployment shapes our approach towards the research
interventions we undertake. Government, NGOs and trade unions are the institutional
focus of C A S E work. Poor households and poor communities are
the primary subjects of C A S E research.
