Demonstrators (4 posts)
Duties: The successful candidates will assist in
practicals and tutorials in the respective subjects. Other duties include
marking of practicals, projects, quizzes, reports and assignments as well as
performance of other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department. The
courses to be taught are: (i) Engineering Science, (ii) Mathematics, (iii)
Plane Surveying and (iv) Engineering Drawing.
Requirements: a) Engineering
Science: The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and
Science or related fields. b) Mathematics:
The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and/or Physics.
c) Plane Surveying: The candidate
must have an undergraduate degree in Geomatics or related fields. d) Engineering Drawing: The candidate must
have an undergraduate degree in Construction or related fields. Teaching
experience in similar subjects at tertiary institutions will be an added
advantage.
