Position:	Team Leader /Capacity Building Adviser

Background:	The main focus of the TA will be on support to NGO empowerment, which aims to promote structural dialogue between the Government and NGOs, to strengthen the framework for the administration of public funds to NGOs and build the capacity of NGOs to coordinate, cooperate and engage in policy dialogue through provision of grants.
Job Description:	Overall coordination and management of the programme including the technical inputs of short-term experts; Support, advise and strengthen the Client and the Client’s staff through the planning, management and implementation of capacity building activities; Grant scheme Management; Coordination of knowledge dissemination; Reporting on the Project’s progress.
Candidate's profile:	A post-graduate degree in development economics, rural development, social sciences, or related disciplines At least 10 years of working experience in development cooperation sector and in project/programme management Relevant professional experience in supporting implementation of national policies, mainly gained in developing countries At least 5 years of experience working with NGOs on capacity building and/or institutional/organizational strengthening Proven working experience in Grants management using EU procedures Very good communication skills in English Knowledge of the NSA sector in Southern Africa
