FACULTY OF SCIENCE
DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY
LECTURER IN PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY
VACANCY NO: FSc/C 01/2020
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected
to: (i) Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Physical
chemistry; (ii) Supervise both undergraduate and graduate
student research projects; (iii) Conduct research in their
area of expertise and also complement existing research areas in Physical
Chemistry; participate in other academic and professional activities of the
department; (iv) Render professional service and carry out any
other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants should have; (i) a
PhD Chemistry; (ii) show evidence of engagement in
research; (iii) teaching experience at a university or
comparable institution, evidence of governance and social engagement will be
added advantages.
NB: Applicants with a Master’s degree in
Chemistry with at least a 2(i) pass or equivalent may be considered.
