PART-TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT
(INFORMATION SYSTEMS)
Duties: To handle tutorials in database and
information retrieval, design and implementation of intranets, internet and web
design, IT tools applications. Other duties performing any other duties
as may be assigned by the Head of Department. (Immediate supervision will be
under the academic staff). Applicants should indicate subjects in which
they are competent.
Requirements: Applicants must have i) at least a
Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Studies, Information Sciences,
Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.6/ 2(i) pass
or equivalent; ii) teaching experience in the above subject areas at University
level will be an added advantage.
Remuneration: The University offers a
competitive hourly rate for part time services.
