VACANCY NO. FET/CE 8/2019:
PART-TIME LECTURER IN GEODESY
Duties: The successful candidate will be
expected to teach undergraduate level courses. The candidate should be able to
teach Geodesy, Engineering Surveying, Survey Adjustments and Analysis,
supervise undergraduate research projects, and any other duties allocated by
the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants should have (i) at
least a Master’s in Geodesy or equivalent; (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in
Geomatics/Land Surveying with at least 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent.
Applicants should also show evidence of engagement in research and service to
the geomatics industry. A PhD in Geodesy and/or a relevant equivalent
professional qualification, teaching experience at a University or comparable
institution and evidence of effective academic leadership will be added
advantages.
