BANK GABORONE: MIDDLE OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Job PurposeResponsible for compiling up-to-date daily management information; populate and process data for scenario testing; coordinate, prepare and aggregate market risk information, including sourcing external market data; measuring portfolio values and sensitivities; monitoring portfolios against limits and escalating breaches.
As well as monitoring and reporting of dealer and delaying limits on a daily basis; and ensuring that relevant reports to the Executive Management Team, Risk Committee and the Board Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee are prepared.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

•Bachelor of Commerce/Accountancy/Finance Degree
•Degree in Money and Banking/Economics will be an added advantage
•ACI Dealing Certificate or ACI Operations certificate will be an added advantage
•Four (4) years relevant experience in a Treasury or Middle Office environment
•Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
•Knowledge of financial analysis
•Self-confidence and interpersonal skills
•Proficiency in computer applications (word and power point)
•Excellent analytically, quantitative, qualitative and problem-solving skills
•Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
•Excellent presentation skills
•An eye for detail
•Excellent planning and organizing skills.
