1. Fibre Installations and Repairs Technician(3 year contract)-tenable in Maun

Job Requirements :

• Reporting to the Fibre and Installations and Repair Engineer,
• the candidate will be required to operate and maintain high capacity fibre links and ensure optimum availability at all times.
• Among the other key responsibilities, the candidate will be required to apply diagnostic techniques to identify causes of faults and respond to failures within stipulated response times.
• Additionally, the candidate will be required to carry out proactive maintenance on the active and passive fibre network and do health checks periodically as set out in the maintenance plans

Qualifications and Experience

• The candidate should have attained a minimum of National Diploma or equivalent in Engineering or Information Communication Technology(ICT) or related field.
• He or She also have a minimum of four (4) years telecommunications operational experience, two(2) of which have been in the Transmission Fibre Networks Field. Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
• strong implementation skills

• knowledge of the telecommunications connectivity environment
• knowledge of the fibre splicing & installations techniques

• mobility to work under pressure
• •knowledge of Transmission Systems and Technologies including SDH/SONET,Ethernet,DWDM etc would be an added advantage

2. Access Network Planning GIS Specialist (1year Contract)
Job Responsibilities


Reporting to the Access Network Planning Engineer, the candidate will be required to develop,update,maintain,coordinate and prepare construction related drawings using appropriate software tools and techniques to enable a timely and cost effective development of network infrastructure. He or She will ensure map products reflect correct geographic locations of facilities and have standard of cartographic quality.

Qualifications and Experience

The candidate should have attained HND in Engineering or related ICT discipline with training or speciality in GIS. He or she should have a minimum of six(6) years work experience in network planning or GIS office setup Skills,Knowledge and Behaviours

3 Public Relations Officer(1year Contract)

Job Responsibilities


• Reporting to the Communications, PR and Marketing Specialist, the candidate will be required to implement BoFiNet Corporate Brand Management initiatives/projects; execute internal and external stakeholder engagement initiatives,CSR,planning and organizing internal events and participation in exhibitions and manage collaboration of BoFiNet with key stakeholders. He or she will assist the development and implementation of annual internal communication plan

Qualification and Experience

• The candidate should have attained a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent with a minimum experience of 6 years in Corporate Communications and Marketing Skills, Knowlegde and Behaviours

4. Assistant Communications Officer(1 year Contract)

Job Responsibilities


• Reporting to the Communications, PR and Marketing Specialist the candidate will be required to implement BoFiNet Corporate Brand Management initiatives/projects; internal communications,planing,organizing and participation in exhibitions,website content management,sourcing and collation of information for BoFiNet publications and production of quarterly newsletter

Qualifications and Experience

• The candidate should have attained a Bachelor's Degree qualification in Communications, Journalism or equivalent with a minimum experience of 3years in Corporate Communications Skills, Knowlegde and Behaviours

5. Records Management Officer (1year Contract)

Job Responsibilities

• Reporting to the HR Manager, the candidate will be required to develop and coordinate the implementation of records policy, guidelines and procedures. He or she will be expected to design and develop file classification scheme and retention/disposal schedules

Qualifications And Experience

• The candidates should have attained a Degree in Archives and Records Management, Library and Information Studies or equivalent with a minimum of 5years experience Skills, Knowlegde and Behaviours
