VACANCY NO. FET/ID&T 1/2014: PART-TIME AND/OR
TEMPORARY FULL-TIME DEMONSTRATORS (2 Semesters)
AREAS: 1. Workshop Technology 2. Computer-Aided
Design
Duties: The department offers courses in the
above areas to the students of B.Des (D&T) Education) and B.Des (Industrial
Design Programme). Demonstrators are required to instruct and
demonstrate the practical aspects of these courses. Workshop Technology
includes: metal, wood and plastics, while Computer-Aided Design
includes: Adobe solid edge, solidworks, ideas, solid thinking and
rhino and AutoCAD.
Requirements: Applicants must possess at
least Bachelors Degree in Design & Technology or Industrial Design,
Mechanical Engineering and/or any related field. Work experience and
university level demonstration experience will be an added advantage. Applicants
must specify the area in which their applications should be considered.
