Regent Insurance, a leader in the short term insurance
industry, is looking for a suitably qualified and ambitious Claims Technician
to join their growing team.
Summary of Duties:
•Processing of claims in accordance with the predetermined workflow procedure and turnaround times.
•Attend to 3rd party payments and the initiation of 3rd party recoveries
•Prepare the agreements of loss for write off and total loss
Responsibilities:
•Assist clients in completing claims forms and fulfilling requirements
•Assisting clients with queries
•Loading claims, appointment of Assessors and payment of fees as per the claims diaries
•Ensure follow-up on diarised items on the claims diaries
•Liaise with brokers
•Assess and evaluate 3rd party payments
•Finalise and close claims
Personal Attributes:
•Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential
•Fluency and good ability in Microsoft usage
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
•Accurate record keeping and attention to detail are essential-must keep records of all communications
•Strong negotiator and influencer skills required
•Excellent customer service skills
•Must be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Qualification and Experience:
•BGCSE a pre-requisite
•COP (short term)
•Insurance related qualification
•Comprehensive claims and system knowledge
•3 years’ experience as a Claims Technician
