1.SENIOR TECHNICIAN (HYDRAULIC SHOVE)

Outputs:

• Ensure effective communication between team and management
• Ensure effective service work is carried out in compliance with quality standards OEM guidelines
• Responsible for repairs,maintenance and trouble shooting of hydraulics shovels/earth moving equipment machine system
• Provide quick and effective service to clients
• Achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability
• Apply Barloworld Equipment leadership philosophy
• Apply warranty policies and procedures: this includes warranty decisions and service warranty investigations
• Communicate job status to external customers and supervisors

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ heavy Plant Trade(NCC) or equivalent mechanical trade
• 5years Hydraulic Shovel experience and sound technical knowledge of earthmoving equipment
• Leadership potential
• Sound verbal communication skills(discuss and explain repairs)
• Ability to follow instructions and cope with job demands
• Ability to work independently
• Willing to work shifts and when required to work overtime

2. ELECTRICIAN - ORAPA

Outputs:

• Responsible for repairs,maintenance and trouble shooting of earth moving equipment machine systems
• Provide quick and effective service to clients
• Address all tasks and taking ownership of the task at hand and have ability to work individually
• Communicate job status to internal customers and supervisor
• Prepare parts orders and complete daily service reports

REQUIREMENTS

• Sound technical knowledge of hydraulics shovel/earth moving equipment
• Electrical Trade certificate(NCC) or equivalent mechanical trade
• 3 years experience in Caterpillar machines or earthmoving equipment
• Ability to work accurately and diligently to ensure quality repairs to machines
• Sound verbal communication skills(discuss and explain repairs)
• Ability to follow instructions and cope with work overtime
• Ability to work independently
• Willing to work shifts and when required to work overtime
• Previous knowledge of hydraulics shovels an added advantage

3. GENERAL MECHANIC (2 POSITIONS)- JWANENG

Outputs:

• Successfully diagnose machine systems and carry out repairs,services and maintenance on Earthmoving Equipment
• Remove and install components
• Ensure safe work practice
• Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer machine breakdowns
• Control contamination
• Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including Machine Inspection Reports (MRI's) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA's)
• Control own admin( Labour booking,service reports,part returns, expenses etc)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified in relevant trade ( e g NCC, Diesel Mechanic/ Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic NQF 4)
• Machine specific technical knowledge and skills;
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills;
• Technical Report writing
• Basic business and financial understanding;
• Computer literacy( SIS,STW & ET) knowledge
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills;
• Applicable product knowledge
• 3 year experience with Caterpillar and other Mining Equipment/Machinery
• Drivers License- Code B

4.AUTO ELECTRICIAN- JWANENG

Outputs:

• Successfully diagnose machine systems and carry out repairs,services and maintenance on Earthmoving Equipment

Outputs:
• Manage and coordinate the logistics for all shipments to depots in RSA
• Vehicle fleet management
• Handling customs related matters
• Maintaining document control

REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics or similar
• Previous logistics,supply chain or courier service experience critical
• 2years experience in similar position
• High level of attention to details
• Team player and must be able to work under pressure
• Good communication and administrative skills

6. PARTS COUNTER SALES PERSON- MAUN

Outputs:

• Parts sales over the counter
• Interpreting customer parts information
• Meeting or exceeding customer expectation
• After hours parts support service

REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics or similar
• Technical and Product Knowledge
•3 years of experience in similar position
• Previous parts knowledge essential
• Computer literacy (MS Office and SAP knowledge would be an added advantage)
• Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
• Ability to function within a team environment
• Willingness to work after hours

7. POSITION: PARTS STOREMAN- GABORONE (3 POSITIONS)

Outputs

• Execution of store activities
• Inbound and outbound logistics
• Fabrication of hoses to Caterpillar standard
• Maintain good house keeping and document control

REQUIREMENTS

• Junior Certificate or higher
• Team player and must be able to work under pressure
• Good communication and administrative skills
