1.SHIFT TEAM LEADER
Job Description:
•To contribute to the profitability of the company’s business by providing professional and efficient service and administration of Atlas Copco drilling consumables and hydraulic top hammers.
Key Responsibilities:
•To administrate the Drill Metre Contracts efficiently, issuing items when required, maintaining records/usage/history/meterage of all components.
•To promptly carryout servicing and maintenance on customer equipment
•To effectively diagnose mechanical hydraulic faults on customer equipment
•To train customers and Atlas Copco personel as required in general operation of drilling consumables and hydraulic top hammers
•To apply good standards of engineering practice at all times
•To perform related duties as required
Experience/knowledge requirements:
•Experience in servicing Rock Drilling Equipment
•Good standards of knowledge of the mining industry
•Computer literate
Personality Requirements:
•Self motivated
•Able to work individually and as part of a team
•Excellent interpersonal skills
2.SHIFT ASSISTANT
Key Responsibilities:
•Inspect drill bits regularly and replace when necessary
•Control the condition of G.E.T as per scheduled maintenance plan
•Carry out machine inspections and report to relevant personnel
•Monitor drilling parameters and ensure that these are adhered to
•Assist foreman with dull bit grading
•Sharpen DTH bits as required
•Record meters per bit and report to admin
•Strip and service DTH hammers when required
Experience requirements:
•Previous experience in drilling equipment and mining will be advantageous
•Knowledge required through experience in the relevant field
•Able to work with minimum supervision
•Adhere to procedures and policies for MR/RDT division
•Accountable for accurate report findings
Knowledge:
•Computer literacy
•Valid code 8 drivers licence
•Valid code 10 drivers licence
Education requirements:
•Technical certificate or knowledge required through experience in the relevant field
Personality requirements:
•Good/sound interpersonal/customer relations to be maintain at all times
Good communication skills and customer focus

Job Description:
•Oversee and manage costs per meter G.E.T contract on RDT Rotary products
•Oversee and manage all aspects of stock and site workshops
•Ensure that all G.E.T is correctly implemented, monitored and reported as stipulated by Atlas Copco
•Ensure that all Atlas Copco property used in this contract is maintained in a good condition and in accordance with Atlas Copco and customer requirements
•Ensure that all Atlas Copco employees represent and conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner
Experience requirements:
•Good understanding of the Drill and Blast Hole industry in Open cast mines
•Track record project management in the open cast mining industry
•A good knowledge of RDT products and application thereof will be an added advantage
Knowledge:
•Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, word, Power point and Outlook
•Valid driver’s licence
Education:
•Relevant Technical Qualification
Personality requirements:
•Self motivated individual
•Be able to work under minimum supervision
•Good communication skills
•Communicate effectively with client management and engineering personnel
