TEACHING
ASSISTANTS (2 positions)
Duties: The successful
applicants will assist the course lecturers of first and second level courses
in their tutorial work. Each teaching assistant will be required to
work 8 hours per week. Hours can be negotiated to be during out of
office hours. The selected candidates will work under the
supervision of the Departmental tutorial coordinator, course instructor and
Head of Department to achieve the Department’s teaching requirements.
Requirements: Candidates should have a
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Combined Major Statistics, with at least a
2(ii) pass. Previous teaching experience and/or a Masters Degree in
statistics shall be added advantages. Preference will be given to
current Graduate Statistics Students.
