diseases, and gender. Futures Group has deep expertise in policy and advocacy,
research and strategic information, health markets and private sector
engagement, modeling and economic analysis, patient monitoring and
management/HMIS, strategic consulting, and program management.
Futures Group International is seeking a Strategic
Information Associate for the SIDALE PEPFAR funded Project in Haiti focused on
HIV/AIDS.
Specific duties include:
- Coordinate
monitoring and evaluation for SIDALE
- Participate
in training LPTF staff in Health Management Information Systems and other
appropriate software packages that may be used in SIDALE data management.
- Provide
TA/training for data entry and/or data collecting personnel at LPTF and
participate in data entry as required in designated region.
- Assist
LPTF in identifying program indicators working through CQI committee
- Participate
in SIDALE data/SI activities to ensure regular, accurate monitoring
reports on all required indicators from the LPTF
- Coordinate
activities for the compilation of quarterly, biannual, & annual
Reports from the POS in designate region
- Participate
in analysis of LPTF data for presentation to CTCT, LPTFs, donor, and
others as requested
- Participate
in program evaluation activities as assigned by Senior Strategic
Information Advisor
- Participate
in national and regional conferences as needed and share best practices /
success stories of the program with other stakeholders;
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor’s
degree in public health, statistics, demography or
management information system with experience in Health systems
- Minimum
of four (4) years of experience including at least two (2) as a
M&E or HMIS coordinator
- Proven
experience in health data processing and analysis
- Good
knowledge of the health system of Haiti
- Knowledge
of the PEPFAR is an asset
- Fluently
in French (oral and written)
- Basic
proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Ability
to work effectively with counterparts and various actors
- Control software
(Windows, Word, Excel, Access, SQL) and principles of operation of
computer networks
- Ability
to work without supervision and under pressure
Available to travel across the country 50% of the
time.
