Our client in Southern Africa is in search of an experienced
Base Metal Resident Geologist to join their Geology team.
Responsibilities:
Exploration and production drilling
3D modeling
Grade estimation and control
Mineralogy & structural geology
Execution of hydrological studies
Resource Statements
Long, medium and short term planning
Mentor geologists
Geological strategies and risk analysis
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
BSc Geology (Hons) Degree
8 years mining and/or exploration experience
MineSight and/or acquire software
Underground Mine experience and Base Metals experience (Zinc, Iron, Nickel)
Mineral Resource Management experience advantageous
Production experience
Certified fitness for duty
Prior expat experience within Africa is essential
