Key Experts - Non-revenue water investigations in 6 towns in Georgia

For the project TA2012024 GE NIF – Technical assistance for the non-revenue water investigations in 6 towns in Georgia with anticipated starting date in May 2014 and duration 24 months NIRAS is looking for the following Key experts:

Key expert 1: Team Leader (TL) - ( for 200 man/days)

Qualifications and skills:

• Master’s degree with specialisation in Water Sector Engineering or equivalent 
• Fluent in written and spoken English

General professional experience:

• Preferably 25 years’ professional working experience in the design or construction supervision of water networks, but a minimum of 15 years required
• Experience in team management of multi-component projects
• Experience in urban infrastructure projects in Georgia, CIS or Baltic States will be an asset. 

Specific professional experience:

• Preferably 15 years’ working experience as a Project/Contract Manager of water or wastewater related international infrastructure projects, but a minimum of 10 years required 
• Preferably 7 years’ working experience in a leakage reduction campaign, but a minimum of 5 years required 
• Experience in preparation and implementation of international contracts implemented with FIDIC Red and/or Yellow Book in minimum 2 projects each.

Key expert 2: Deputy Team Leader (DTL) (for 220 man/days)

Qualifications and skills

• Master’s degree with specialisation in Hydraulic Engineering or Sanitary Engineering or equivalent
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Georgian and/or Russian is an asset

General professional experience

• Preferably 15 years’ professional working experience in water-engineering disciplines, but a minimum of 10 years required
• Experience in team management

Specific professional experience:

• Preferably 15 years’ working experience in the design or construction supervision of water networks, but a minimum of 10 years required
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in modelling water and/or sewerage networks
