Our client is an international mining company based in
Europe with operations in Africa. They are urgently seeking an HR professional
to collaborate with the business unit in delivering operational objectives,
instilling leadership, culture and talent management strategies and encouraging
people management skills at line levels. This individual will also be directing
stakeholder engagement through employee relations.
Responsibilities:
Provide information on operational and resource requirements in budget compilation
Management of attendance, absenteeism and overtime in order to reduce workforce costs
Industrial and employee relations, grievance handling and disciplinary action
Implementation of performance management system
HR policies, procedures and advice on employment law
Effective use of SAP system in the workplace
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
Relevant tertiary qualification: HR-related degree or diploma
At least 7 years' experience in HR generalist roles, preferably in the mining industry
Strong service orientation with business acumen
SAP experience essential
Contractual information:
Residential position
