Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Finance is
responsible for directing and leading the financial management, reporting and
procurement function in order to support delivery of the company' s goals in
accordance with the statutory requirements.
Job description
- Leading
the finance team in the budgeting, forecasting and planning process for
the organisation.
- Preparation
and review of the monthly, quarterly and annual business peforamance
reports and forecast.
- Development
and refinement of management accounting and reporting, including metrics/
KPI's and enhanced business analysis.
- Managing
the company's cash flows.
- Leading
the procurement function and ensuring adherence to the company's
procurement policies and regulations.
- Development
and and ensuring adherence with policies and procedures.
- Completion
of statutory financial accounts.
Requirements, Education and Experience
Education
Degree in Accounts plus Professional qualification e.g ACCA,
CIMA, or CA.
Experience
10 year's experience of which 4 must have been at Senior
Management in a medium to Large enterprise.Must have stong analytical skills,
proposal writing skills, presentation skills and leadership & people
management skills as well as an in-depth understanding of the financial
regulations.
