1.SPRAY PAINTER
2.AUTO ELECTRICIAN
3.ESTIMATOR
4.FLATTING ARTISANS
5.PANEL BEATER/TECHNICIAN

1.SPRAY PAINTER

Main Purpose of Job

•To carry on the duties of a spray painter and to perform such duties as to the required factory/Manufacturer standards and expectations.
•Reporting to the supervisor and workshop manager

Key Competencies

•Be able to use spray painting equipment and tools
•Be able to mix correct colors and match and know how to measure the qualities expected to be used
•Attention to details
•Planning and Organizing
•Assertiveness

Qualification and Experience:

•National Trade Certificate / Diploma in Auto Body Repair
•Five (5) years experience in the field of spray painting
•Knowledge of computerized or manual color matching

2.AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Main purpose of the job:

•To carry out on the duties of an Auto Electrician and perform such duties as to the required factory/Manufacturer standards and expectations.
•Reporting to the supervisor and workshop manager

Key Competencies:

•Be able to inspect, maintain and repair all types of petrol and diesel motor vehicles
•Must be able to diagnose and undertake electrical repairs on a white variety of vehicles
•Attention to details
•Be able to test and control digital control systems including ABS controls
•Good customer service and communication
•Must have a valid drivers licence

Qualification and Experience:

•Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering
•3 – 4 years experience

3.ESTIMATOR

Academic Qualification and Experience:

•Diploma in Auto Mechanical and Auto Body repairs or any relevant equivalent qualification
•Bachelors Degree will be an added advantage
•2 – 3 years as a collision Repair Estimator

Requirements:

•Extensive knowledge in motor vehicle repairs
•Computer literate
•Extensive knowledge in checking affected vehicles in order to determine the amount of structural body, mechanical or interior damage
•Be able to calculate cost of parts, labour and estimate the salvage value of the total vehicle loss
•Have technical skills in matters related to estimation on repair of vehicles
•Be able to process insurance claims

4.FLATTING ARTISANS

Main purpose of the Job:

•To carry out on the duties of a flatter and perform such duties as to the required factory/Manufacturer standards and expectations.
•Reporting to the supervisor and workshop manager

Key competencies:

•Knowledge of body fillers, mixing of primer
•Be able to smooth and straighten panels
•Be able to use flatters machinery and tools
•Planning and organizing
•Attention to detail
•Be able to prepare vehicles for spray painting

Qualification and Experience:

•National Trade Certificate or any related qualification
•Three (3) years experience in the flattering field

5.PANEL BEATER

Main purpose of job:

•To carry out on the duties of a Panel Beater and perform such duties as to the required factory/Manufacturer standards and expectations.
•Reporting to the supervisor and workshop manager

Key competencies:

•Be able to use panel beating and welding machinery
•Be able to manufacture/ mold sheet metal panels and create new body channels as of original of such vehicles which are not in the market
•Customer service
•Ability to work under no supervision
•Problem solving skills

Qualification and Experience:

•National Trade certificated or any other related qualification
• 5 years experience in the field of panel beating
