AND STRUCTURES (2-year Contract Position)

Duties: The
successful candidate will be expected to (i) teach courses in the areas of
Engineering Materials, Construction Materials and Structures (ii) conduct and
produce results of scholarly work, actively involving students at B. Eng.
Degree and Masters levels (iii) perform administrative and other duties as may
be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Candidates must have (i) at least a Master’s
degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Structures or Materials; (ii)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least a 2(i) pass / GPA of at
least 3.6; obtained from a recognized university;(iii) show evidence of engagement in research and
service; (iv) a PhD in Structural Engineering, Materials or related
field is an added advantage; (v) Preference will be given to applicants with
teaching experience at a university level in the areas of Materials and
Structures, with a good research and publication record.
