FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
PART-TIME LECTURER POSITION IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL
ENGINEERING (2 Positions)
VACANCY NO: FET /CE 9/2013
Duties: The successful applicant will be
required to teach undergraduate level courses. The candidate should
be able to i) teach the following courses; Construction Technology, Health and
Safety Management in construction, Contract Administration and Construction
Industry Economics.
Requirements: The successful applicant must
possess (i) at least a Master’s degree in Project or Construction Management or
equivalent; (ii) Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Construction Engineering,
Construction Technology, Construction Management with at least a 2(i) pass
/ GPA of at least 3.6; obtained from a recognized university;(iii) show evidence of engagement in
research and service; (iv) a PhD in Project or Construction Management
or related field and teaching experience at a University or comparable
institution as well as demonstration of effective academic leadership will be
added advantages.
REMUNERATION: The University offers a

qualifications.
