Principal Officer - BOMAID

Overview of role

The purpose of the Principal Officer’s job is to perform administrative and
financial duties as the Chief Executive Officer of the Society.

Job description

  • Reporting to the Board of Trustees the Principal Officer advises on all matters of strategy, finance and administration
  • Key performance areas are: investment management; strategy formulation & implementation; preparation and submission of annual budgets and reports; third party contracts management; stakeholder relationship management; regulatory compliance and secretary of the Board of Trustees and Overseeing the delivery of a third party administrator

Requirements, Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a degree in Commerce, Economics or related field
  • A Masters degree will be an added advantage
  • Membership of a relevant professional organisation is a must
  • A minimum of ten (10) years post qualification experience
