Deputy Executive Director - Corporate Support Services - BAC

Overview of role

To provide strategic leadership in all corporate services functions and to support the core business. Such leadership will be in a manner consistent with quality of service, value for money and stakeholder expectations, organizational skills and above average problem solving capabilities. The position holder will be innovative and proactive. In essence the purpose of the job is viewed as a role at the most senior executive level to advise the Executive Director accordingly.

Job description

Overseeing the support functions of the college (Finance, Administration, ICT, HR, Student Welfare and Support, Marketing and Corporate Communications) you will ensure an integrated and an enabling environment for optimum effectiveness. With a strong service delivery focus, you will drive performance, ensure divisional performance targets are achieved and support business plans and objectives.

Competencies necessary for this position are: ability to manage change, transformation and growth, innovation, people management, co-ordinating and organisational skills, key stakeholder management skills, strategic thinking and problem solving.

Requirements, Education and Experience

A Master’s Degree, with a finance and strategy bias combined with similar exposures and 10 years senior management experience is desired.
Membership of an accountancy professional body will be an added advantage.
