PART-TIME LECTURER IN STRUCTURES
Duties: The successful candidate will be
expected to (i) teach undergraduate courses in Structural Engineering, (ii)
conduct and produce results of scholarly work, actively involving students at
B.Eng. Degree level, and (iii) carry out any other duties and responsibilities
as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants should have (i) at least a
Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; (ii) have a Bachelor’s Degree
in Civil Engineering with at least 2(i) grade/GPA of at least 3.6 on a 5 point
scale or equivalent; (iii) registered or eligible for registration with a
professional engineering body. Applicants should also show evidence of
engagement in research and service. A relevant PhD and/or a relevant
professional qualification, teaching experience at a University or comparable
institution and evidence of effective academic leadership will be added
advantages.
