LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING DEGREE PROGRAMME
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates
for the post of Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty
of Engineering and Technology.
Duties: The successful applicant will be
expected to: (i) teach courses in Industrial Engineering and related areas at
both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; (ii) participate in all academic
and professional activities including research and supervision of research
projects; (iii) carry out any other duties as assigned by the Head of
Department.
Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) at least a
Masters’ Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; (ii) a Bachelor’s
Degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields with at least a 2(i) pass/
GPA of at least 3.6; The following will be added advantages: (a) evidence of
engagement in research and service; (b) a relevant PhD, teaching experience at
a University or comparable institution and (c) demonstration of effective
academic leadership.
