Deadline: Until filled
Location: Amman, Jordan
Organization: Oxfam Quebec
The program’s core strategy relies on sending Canadian (or
permanent residents) technical advisers to target countries with the mandate of
providing support to build partner organizations’ technical, administrative and
financial capacities, allowing them to develop innovation and create durable
change in their environment in terms of economic development, food security,
gender justice, governance and sustainable environment. To this end, the PAI
focuses on developing innovative intervention models and approaches with the
support of a network of known and experienced Canadian partners such as civil
society organizations, research institutes and socially responsible companies.
In terms of target population, Oxfam puts women at the heart
of all its interventions, acknowledging that women are too often denied
opportunities and lacking decision-making and influencing power. To this end,

women can fully claim and enjoy their rights.
