Botswana Ash (Pty) Ltd is a Soda Ash and Salt producing Company situated at Sua Pan in Botswana, approximately 180km by tarred road northwest of Francistown. The Company employs over 500 employees of which close to 300 are unionized. Employees and their families live in Sowa Town, about 20km from the plant site. The town boasts of recreational facilities, which include restaurant, tennis, squash, swimming and golf. There is also an excellent English medium pre-primary, primary and secondary school as well as public primary and junior secondary schools.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:
1. Senior Teacher – High School (Geography & Setswana)
2. Teacher – High School (Accounting & Business Studies)
3. Teacher – High School (English & History)
4. Teacher – Primary School

Job Summary
The major role of the incumbents will be to teach the “whole child” by attending to the intellectual, emotional and physical development of the School children in the subject of specialization and/or educational stream.

1. SENIOR TEACHER – HIGH SCHOOL (GEOGRAPHY & SETSWANA)

Minimum Requirements
A dynamic person with a minimum of a four-year Degree with the necessary qualifications to teach Geography and Setswana up to IGCSE level. A minimum of two years post-qualification experience in an English Medium School is required.

2. TEACHER – HIGH SCHOOL (ACCOUNTING & BUSINESS STUDIES)

Minimum Requirements
A dynamic person with a minimum of a four-year Degree with the necessary qualifications to teach Accounting and Business Studies up to IGCSE level. A minimum of two years post-qualification experience in an English Medium School is required.

3. TEACHER – HIGH SCHOOL (ENGLISH & HISTORY)

Minimum Requirements
A dynamic person with a minimum of a four-year Degree with the necessary qualifications to teach English Language and Literature and History up to IGCSE level. A minimum of two years post-qualification experience in an English Medium School is required.

4. TEACHER – PRIMARY SCHOOL

Minimum Requirements
A dynamic person with a minimum of a diploma in Primary School Education. The applicant should have a minimum of two years post-qualification experience in an English Medium School teaching PSLE.
