 Job Purpose

To lead the statutory reporting work within the Financial Control team. To manage & coordinate the work of the Financial Control Accountants to ensure financial control accountants work is completed efficiently and financial records are correctly maintained with sufficient rigour and control.

Main Accountabilities: 

• Financial Reporting Principal Risk Oversight
• Account Ownership & Reconciliation
• Ad-hoc tasks

Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

• An understanding of accounting policies
• An understanding of the operation of a banking financial control framework
• An understanding of SAP General Ledger
• Computer Literacy

Essential/Basic Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications

• Accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• The jobholder must have substantial directly relevant experience in a technical financial environment.
• Financial Accounting - experience of financial management
