Botswana Power Corporation has embarked on a strategic journey in its pursuit to become a competitive commercial power utility within the region that is responsive and customer focused. To achieve this goal, the Corporation has commissioned a second Power Station, Morupule B , to increase the domestically generated electricity, hence placement of key professionals to drive this mandate is critical.

BPC requires dynamic, result orientated and customer focused individuals who believe they can be part of a great team that delivers reliable power to Botswana, to apply for the below mentioned job:

INTERNAL AUDITOR IT AUDITS (TENABLE IN GABORONE)

Main Purpose of job:

•To carry out information technology audits in order to provide objective assurance on accuracy, completeness, availability and integrity of financial information and systems.
•Ensure organization’s compliance with policies and procedures, board directives, practices, standards and legislation.
•IT governance framework and IT frameworks
•Review and evaluate IT internal controls and identify actions needed to mitigate the risks

Qualifications:

•A degree in Accounting, Business or related area plus
•Diploma in Computer studies or equivalent
•Knowledge of CAATS will be added advantage

Experience:

•2 years practical IT experience in auditing environment
