Medical Representative (Botswana)

The position

Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Detailing Roche Products to Specialists, Healthcare Professionals, Supportive Care Staff, Private and State Hospitals for attainment of set sales target;
• Reporting adverse events;
• Individual customer potential analysis and developmental plans;
• Competitor and market analysis;
• Customer relationship management;
• Key opinion leader identification and development;
• Arranging of CME's and round table discussions;
• Presentations to academic groups.

The successful candidate should be in possession of:

• A Science related qualification with a good knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology;
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years detailing experience in a specialist field.

The following special skills are key to this role:

• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and persuasive selling skills;
• Excellent planning and organisational skills;
• Good interpersonal skills and self motivated with a demonstration of initiative;
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
• Computer Literacy in MS Office;
• Knowledge of the medicallhealthcare industry.
