FACULTY OF HUMANITIES
TEACHING ASSISTANTS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF AFRICAN LANGUAGES AND LITERATURE (2 positions)   
VACANCY NO: FH/ALL 1/ 2013       
Duties: The successful candidate will be required to undertake occasional duties assigned by the Head of Department, notably to give course instructors assistance in the conduct of tutorials and practical sessions and the grading of tests and assignments in African Languages and Literature courses (medium of instruction: Setswana and English)
Qualification: At least a BA Major in African Languages and Literature with a good 2(ii) (65% and above) and advanced standing in a Master’s program.  Preferably the applicants must have taken some undergraduate courses in Creative Writing, Popular Theatre and Translation in addition to other Linguistic courses.  Teaching and/or research experience and other qualifications will be considered as added advantages
Remuneration:   As per approved part-time rates.
